She's DONE!!!

Well, it's official!! I have completed my Music Therapy Internship! I am back to the world of being a Mom to my beautiful daughter. I couldn't be more excited!! I gave my internship my all. There were some really rough moments and a whole lot of successful and wonderful moments! I learned so much about myself and about my abilities as a therapist. Most importantly to me, I was brave. I am so proud of myself for sticking it through and finishing despite the challenges it presented to being a mother and a wife. I am so glad I did it. I am so glad I had the Internship Director that I did and for her support through the entire journey! She is amazing. The other person who played a HUGE part in my success was Trevor. I feel so blessed to have his complete support 24/7. I couldn't have done it without him! It was a journey, and I'm only human, but it was the best journey of my educational career!

A lot has happened over the months that I neglected the blog-especially with Ashlynn. She's going to be 20 months old in a few days and we couldn't be more proud of who she is. Here's a list of some of the fun things she does on a regular basis!

-she will talk your ear off... you might not always understand what she's trying to say :)

-picky eater! She's got her set list of foods that she'll eat... in order or preference 1) mashed potatoes 2) noodles with butter 3) marshmallow mateys (but ONLY the marshmallows!) 4) Veggie Sticks

-she does the cutest little sideways run... there's no way to explain it really... I need to get it on video... but it's freakin' adorable!

-FROZEN... omgosh. I finally had to buy the soundtrack to listen to in the car because she asks for it ALL. THE. TIME. She is so funny to watch as she watches the video... gets a sad face EVERY TIME during "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman" during the interlude where in the movie the parents die. It's so sad and funny at the same time. And she'll say "oh no.... she sad!" and at the very end of the song where it shows Elsa leaning against her door crying, "she crying ("ky-ing") momma! ooh!". She is such a smart girl.

-She LOVES to ride the train

"Hi!!"
I could seriously go on and on... basically, we love this girl. She is amazing and the perfect addition to our family. We don't know where we would be without her! Here's to hoping I can keep the blog updated from now on!
My girl is so big! Watchin' some baseball

Blurry and funky lighting but this is her "posing" and saying CHEESE!
